The treatment

At least 6 weeks before, in between and after the treatments you may not:sunbathing (except with a sunblock protectionfactor 60), have a sunbed, wax or depilate or use selfbrowning products. Shaving or cutting the hair is no problem at any time.

Before the first treatment Sensitif always takes a testshot to define the exact adjustment.

This means a few pulses at one area of about 1 square cm.

The treatment is quick and nearly painless. Slight pin pricks can be felt. First some conduction gel is applied, and then the chilled tip of the handpiece is moved across the skin with slight pressure.

The laser emits a pulse, energy in the form of heat, which is conducted through the hair pigment to the hair follicle. The heat will then destroy the follicle. The treated area will be cooled afterwards with a coolpack. Then a nurturing or cooling gel is applied. The hair will grow out automatically within now and 14 days
