• Can any skin type be treated?

  Yes all skin types can be treated. Your skin will be accurately examined and your skin type will be determined. Please have yourself informed at our clinic.

• Is it possible to treat any hair type?

  Yes, except for down hair and grey hair. During the consultation your hairtype will be established. We will let you know if the treatments will be significant.

• Are there any risks?

  No, not if you meet the requirements and follow the instructions. An information letter including the instructions will be provided during the introductory meeting. Research from the United States of America has demonstrated that it is clinically proven that a treatment with the LightSheer DUET and/or ET will have no side effects on the long term.

• Are you associated with all health insurances and will the treatments be covered by the insurance?

  Yes, we are member of the Dutch Society of Skin therapists (NVH). If you have an extensive insurance policy, the face or parts of the face will be covered. The amount of reimbursement will depend on the insurance company and on the type of policy.

• What equipment do you use and how do I know if it is effective?

  We use the LightSheer diode laser DUET and ET, currently worldwide’s most effective equipment for the purpose of hair removal. It is a medical laser from the United States of America awarded with a  FDA Approval. The latter is a quality mark for efficacy and safety. We focus exclusively on laser hair removal and are up to date with the latest developments stemming from the Unites States in the field of laser technology.

• Since when is Sensitif specialized in laser hair removal?

  Sensitif has been practising for nearly 10 years now and has been able to build an extensive experience. As of today over 40.000 treatments have been successfully executed by Sensitif.

• Who will execute the treatments and is there a doctor allied to the clinic?

  The treatments are carried out by qualified laser therapists under strict hygienic circumstances. A doctor and a dermatologist are allied to the clinic. Sensitif obtains a significant set of recruitment requirements and therefore solely top of the class specialised are employed by SENSITIF.

Tips

• I orientate to choose a clinic

  Pay close attention to hallmarks which form an indication for the quality of the treatments. Important hallmarks include expertise, experience, research, provisions of guarenteed results, laser certificates etc.. Take your time in order to make a well-considered decision about where you want to be treated.

  Make sure you will stop waxing or depilating.
