Why choose for a cherry angioma treatment

Cherry angiomas are often known as red moles or senile angiomas. It is a common skin condition that can occur on any part of the body. They are small, benign skin tumors that appear as bright red bumps on the skin. The reddish appearance is caused by an accumulation of small red arterioles inside the cherry angioma. Although they are generally harmless, these cute red spots can be cosmetically bothersome, often leading to the desire to remove them. This can significantly boost confidence.

The cherry angioma treatment explained

In our clinic, we use the Nd:YAG laser to treat these moles. The Nd:YAG laser is effective in removing moles by delivering targeted light energy to the pigment in the skin. This specific wavelength of the laser penetrates deeper into the skin, where the pigment is located. The laser energy is absorbed by the dark pigment of the mole, resulting in heating and breakdown of the pigment. This stimulates the body's natural removal process, where the skin gradually breaks down and removes the damaged cells. After several treatment sessions, the mole may fade or disappear, depending on its size, depth, and characteristics.
